I have a CS1000 at 7.6 with a primary and backup (offsite) signalling server.
Recently, our primary sig server has gone stupid. I get notified of this by our IP users calling saying the caller and redial logs on their IP phones are coming up with server unreachable.
I can ping both the name and IP of the primary sig server.
I can't connect to it.
When I do a STAT SS in LD 117 it shows as being UP (see below)
**** 10.30.1.15 YES HP DL360G7 LINK UP sptsvsig01.*******.**
APPS: LTPS VTRK
PBXLINK DATE: 21/09/2017
PBXLINK TIME: 14:57:26
CONNECTID: 67f0f38
APPLICATION NODE ID: 2187
Sets: [reg - 00050] [busy - 00000] [dvla - 00000]
VTRK: [reg - 00000] [busy - 00000]
SIPL VTRK: [reg - 00000] [busy - 00000]
IMSL VTRK: [reg - 00000] [busy - 00000]
SIGNALLING SERVER CAPACITY (SSRC): 4096
Type: HP DL360G7
Location: 0 0 0
Product Eng.Code: NTDXXXXXXX
Serial Number: USE145K1BE
Memory Size: 6144 MB
Disk Size 279 GB
When I go directly to the server, it won't accept any of the logons, even PDT.
I have had to physically turn off the server and turn it back on, then it is happy and all the IP phones caller and redial lists are back and I can connect to UCM.
Could it be the beginning of the end for the hardware do you think?
Thanks.s
