Can anyone recommend a product to boost the T1 signal about 2500'. I have 2 systems that I'm tying together via T1. The copper is already in the ground but it is Cat3.

Is this a T1 from the LEC, or is it just a circuit you are extending. If it's a LEC circuit, have them move it.

2500' is a long way to extend a T1, especially on Cat3

if your building a t1 try putting a csu on each end, a half mile without a repeator is do-able. almost all outside plant cable is cat 3

My cable no LEC involved.

right, just might need a csu at that distance...

Ok I don't have repeater's or CSU's so I have to go out and buy them anyway. My question is which of the two do you think I'll have better luck with using?

i am running an in house for cat 3 tie cable almost that far without any outsuide treatment, it's a line side t1 back to a northstar, never get any hits on that one...
