Hi, any idea about signal(9)? Thanks.

Not sure what you mean, but in terms of the kill command, signal 9 is The Terminator, killing processes without any fancy-dan cleaning up before or afterwards. Does that help?

Yes, KenCunningham.
Thanks a lot.

I ask this, because we encounter this error when we add a sleep command in our clustering script. I don't know why. Anyway, Thanks again.

Gesrix - which cluseterin script?

Hi Mike,
We are using MC/service guard for the clustering. The script I mean was the script used by the MC/serviceguard for the failover.
Thanks.

Gesrix - as I remember, if a failover script takes too long MC/SG will lose patience and kill -9 it.
