siemens open scape office mx ver 3 and SIP Extensions

My College in Ireland recently changed
their phone system from the old fashion POTS system to Fully IP using a
siemens open scape office mx ver 3.

I am currently installing a new radio training studio here and need to
integrate a broadcast bionics Phonebox solo, Cisco phone and software based call system
which requires SIP extensions and a gateway. The UK based company says
its software system will operate if our open scape provides SIP Extensions.

Does anyone know if that system we are using supports this as my I.T department say they have no knowledge in this area!

Any help support or suggestions are most welcome,

All modern Siemens systems can provide SIP extensions.
In fact the OSV (Openscape Voice) extensions are SIP by default, however some settings might need to be changed for your setup to work.
Ask your Estates department to contact the provider to set one up for you.

Many thanks for this information sbcsu. I will forward it on to the I.T. department. Does anyone have the setting changes required for open scape office MX version 3 so we could carry out the changes ourselves?
