Siemens ISDX to Octel 250 1

PBX = Siemens ISDX. Voicemail = Octel 250.
Over the past few months users are reporting Message Waiting indication (high tone) ON but NO new messages.

Online CDR trace on Octel shows voicemail has not set Message Waiting. NON-voicemail users are also affected by Message Waiting issue. Led to believe this is not voicemail related.

Is anyone aware of Siemens ISDX and Octel 250 problems in regards to message waiting?

What version software are you running on the iSDX.

Does the Octel clear the message wait indication or does the iSDX clear the message wait indication on detecting a call to the VM hunt group.

PBX version 6.3
Octel version 2.5

The Octel does clear message waiting indicators. However, some extensions are getting MWi, although they do not exist on the voicemail.
