Hello,
I have a Siemens Hipath 4000, software v.6 that I'm looking to integrate with a Cisco ISR 4331. We were planning on running an E1 from the Siemens to the ISR and route calls as we switch over to Cisco UCM.

Does anyone have experience with this type of migration? If so, is it possible to install the ISR next to the Siemens and connect with an E1 crossover? From there route the call over fiber to the UCM solution which is located in another building?

If we could eliminate the E1 would be ideal. But I'm more interested in a proven solution - if there is one

Thank you
Brad

Good Morning,

Our 4K is connected to an ISR4331 (and hence CUCM) using SIP.
We'd already upgraded to 4K v7 when it happened and have since moved to V10.
Don't forsee any issues using ISDN with a crossover. I'm sure there are some guides for that.
