I greet all specialists!

I would like to ask for advice - we have a corporate PBX, which we added into the available slot, an analog card 4SLA - all OK. then we got hold of the card 8SLA and we exchanged it instead of the previous slot number 7, but the system will recognize only the original four ports.
Then I tried the tab SYSTEM-WIDE take over key expansion HW / SW expansion card loaded software for 4SLA and assign a new tab corresponding software 8SLA.
When you try to register the changes PC-> System registration was rejected with the message:

"Incompatible cards.
Error. Transmission error in send mode "

Please advise me how to do?
Thank you for any advice.

You can't just change the board. You must also change the part number of the board in the system database (BCSU) or you will see a status of WBT (wrong board type) when you do a DIS-BCSU:TBL; . Most of the time it will not let you just change the board part number - you will have to delete out the old board and then re-add the new one with the correct part number.

I am 98% positive to delete the old board you will have to delete all the stations off of it. I suggest before you delete them that you do a REG-SCSU and provode the station numbbers for each station you are about to remove - that way after you change the board you can copy and paste the REG-SCSU command for each phone into assistant to recreate them.

You may also want to do a REG-SDAT for each phone, and a REG-ZIEL if there is any call worwarding on them.
