Hello Everyone,

First post here, I have a client who has a Siemens Hipath 3000 phone system and they have a gentleman in accounts whom is always getting calls on his extension from other extensions in the business, is it possible to block an extension from calling his?

If you need any more information from me please ask.

Kind Regards

Yes, I would assign the person who is receiving the unwanted calls to a different ITR group, and then edit the ITR call position matrix so that the new group you assigned that person to cannot receive calls from the group that everyone else is in (but leave it so they can MAKE calls to the original group). If someone tried to call that phone they will see Not Authorized.

NOTE: This will affect ALL inside calls to that phone, such as attempting to transfer a call to it, etc. The only calls that phone will get are external calls or calls from people in another group that is not blocked from calling.

Thank you for your response, if they still wanted to receive calls from some extension could those extensions be added into the same group? and stay in their own group?

Thanks

I am pretty sure each phone can only be added into one group, but don't quote me on that!
