Siemens 3000 Ring Group - MULAP line rings without visual indication

I found that creating a ring group a phone that has MULAPs with a ** before the extension number will ring when the
ring group is called, but the line won't flash. Others in the group that aren't members of a MULAP do flash when they ring.
I wonder how I can get the line on the MULAP ext. to also flash?

Update: Adding a General Call Key or Repdial with the same ext. still does not provide a flashing line key both on calls directly to the extension or via the Hunt Group pilot number. When calling the extension directly the MULAP key for that phone's ext. does flash.
