Sidewinder force feedback pro "Not Connected"

Hi,
I recently bought a s/h Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro with no driver cd. When I installed it to my Soundblaster game port it seemed that drivers loaded automatically. In Hardware Manager the game port seemed to be working ok and HID compliant controller etc were all there with drivers installed. However, in Gaming Options in Control Panel I am informed that the Joystick is not connected. I am running Windows 2000, have searched this site, and others but have so far found no solution.
Any help much appreciated.

I had the same issue.......you have to download the full driver package......
