I have sidekick99 at my office and I have now loaded it on my home computer. However the notes below the line do not appear on my home computer. On the office computer there is a little paper clip icon but none on the home computer. Suggestions?

Dear Grouch,
What view are you in when these Notes below the line are not showing?
Please be a little more specific.

If this is in Calendar View, and in the right-hand pane, go to tools|preferences|toolbar
and add the icon/Command button for
switch event view
That button removes the lines from the daily view and allows you to see just your appointments.

Post back with more details if that doesn't work

Thanks for the reply. I am in the contacts mode. On the left are the contacts and on the right is the entry that I have highlighted. It is one continuous field instead of having a line on the lower part where you can put notes. At my office I have notes there but they did not transfer in the same form to the home computer. And as I said, at the office there is a little paper clip icon in the right upper corner. If you click on it the line in the lower part disappears. I am missing this function.

Any thoughts?

Sorry Grouch50 & Grouch55!!

But you have Sidekick98 or a earlier/later version of Sidekick99 on your computer at Work and Sidekick99 later/earlier version on your home computer.
That does not mean that the Contact log has gone but just that it is not visible in the version of Sidekick you have on your home computer.
See the FAQ area of this forum for a way to download Sidekick98 + the Year2000 patch as the version of Sidekick99 that had the Contact log in it is no longer available.

Dear Grouch55,
Since I last posted I have realised that you have the earlier version of sdk99 on your home computer and the later version of SDK99 on your work computer.
I have downloaded and installed from the Starfish site and that version has the Contact log that I presume you are referring to.
See the FAQ area of this forum for the address:
