Just install sidekick99 to Vista but will not save change on contact on exit
 
Dear Happy62,

Check that the files are not read only in which case you may be using them from the cd which you backed them up to.
Otherwise:
Locate the userdata folder where you have the files and check that it is on the root of the C:\ Drive and not in the program files folder which does not allow you to change files.
