Sidekick99 are there two versions, is so whats the difference.

I believe there are (2) versions of SK99, version 6.0 and
version 6.1. or 6.01. If this is so, what are their differences?
Before finding this site I had no idea how many people
need and want sidekick support. The program is great and THIS SUPPORT FORUM, is of "Real Value." Thanks!

Dear Richard,
The most obvious difference is that the 6.01 version of SK99 has a little paperclip in the top right hand corner of the open Card in Cardfile view.
If clicked upon, this opens the Contact Log/Cardfile Log
There is no Contact Log/Cardfile Log in the other version of SK99 as it was removed, Starfish thought we didn't want it (I don't remember being asked, do you?).
After a Little feedback they reinstated it.
From my own personal viewpoint I never liked SK99 with or without the Contact Log (though it does load quickly and has a very clean look)! I still prefer SK98 and (if they had brought out a Patch for it) I would prefer Internet Sidekick before any of the other versions.
When they reinstated the Contact log they didn't see fit to reinstate the Alt+W keyboard shortcut that opened and closed it...
There does still seem to be a future for us Sidekick junkies
at least until December 2029 when the Calendar runs out!!!
