I have been using SK98 and all at once I can not use my Modem on this XP computer. If I click on "Phone" in SK98 & then "Setup" I get the "ERROR" mesage ( Device name is not null terminated.) This is the only thing that has changed and I dont know how to keep SK98 from trying to use the modem. I never use this feature anyway. Please Help Vic.

Dear vicsvw,
If you look down at the bottom right of your screen where the clock is on the taskbar, you will see a small icon a copy of which is here:
Double click on that icon and the following dialog will come up on screen:
If you check out the following it shows you how to disable the synchronizing:
While you are connected to the internet your computer's time will be periodically synchronized. Enter 0 to disable.
Check that out and see how it goes
