I noticed after reading through this forum, that on 807-3761 there is nowhere a Y2K patch shown, I do know Starfish released such a patch (I have one for SK98) late in 1999.
Question, is this patch not needed?

Dear Siggi42,

There was never a patch for SK99 there was a later version that included the Contact Log, that is the one on my website.

Regards
Jim

Hi james,
NO I was NOT referring to SK99
I was referring to SK98 (Ninety Eight)which is the version I own and use.
As I DO have this Y2K patch and it IS installed on my SK98 since 1999 and on the new PC as well (on XP).

I do no longer have the e-mail files where this exchange took place (this was in the end of 1999) but I DO remember this patch was on the "Starfish" site and it was "recommended" to install this for whatever reason, as I said the mailfile was lost.

P.S. I can send u a copy (need e-mail address) if U want

Hi James

No, this patch I mean was a ZIP file with 2 *.dll files,
1. - "etwin.dll" dated 10-Jun-99 size 584 704
2. - "ettime1.dll" dated 01-Dec-97 size 406 016
(and I have both).
My question was:
1. Since these are not on the web page do I need to install these 2 files (which are to be "drag/dropped" to the program dir. same as the sidekick.exe file) ?
2. do U want these?

Hi James 33
I have e-mailed the Y2K dll files for u to look at, attached as zip file to the address shown on your "download page".
Same file as the SK98 calender.
