Hey guys,
First of all, thanks for all your help in the past. I am trying to get sidekick 98 to work on WinXP. The only problem I have right now is getting the calls to advance from day to day. I've tried following the advice already posted for 98, but basically hit a dead end when I went to the Starfish support page. Am I missing something? Any suggestions?

thanks, Scotty

Dear ScottyMitch,
See the following page and
First follow all the instructions on that
page if you haven't already.

See if that solves it.

Then if you look at the part about
editing the Init.skw file......
and I quote Starfish:
Open the *INIT.SKW, where * is equal to your calendar name, in the Program Files\Starfish\Sidekick 98\Userdata folder using Notepad or WordPad. Search for the text "LastEditTime" under the [CalTodo] section.

See if there is a section in that Init.skw
file referring to [CalCalls] and
try editing the last edited date.
I will see if I can find it too!

I would suggest backing up the contents of your Userdata folder FIRST
(the whole Sidekick Folder too
if you are like me and don't want to
risk any of your Data).

I would think it was worth a try but it
would have to be at your own Risk.
Regards Jim

Dear scottymitch,
Further to the last post I see that there is only one entry in the [yourname]init.skw file for the Date Last edited.
Check that the entry for the days to forward calls is the default 30 Days.
Good luck
Regards Jim
