Sidekick and Treo 650

Has anyone tried synching Sidekick98 with a Palm Treo 650?

I just got my new Treo 650 and would very much prefer to use Sidekick98 instead of the Palm desktop.

The Treo shipped with Palm Desktop v 4.1.4 and HotSync Manager 6.0.1.

I tried the method of installing the Palm software and syncing - everything fine there. Then I installed Sidekick98 and TrueSync 2.5 which came with the version of Sidekick that I have. I copied the .dll files over to the Palm directory and see the Sidekick sync option in the Custom part of HotSync. When I try to sync it starts then give me an error message. The Error Log lists all the Sidekick sync options with "Unknown error. (65535)"

Can anyone offer any suggestions?
