I have successfully installed Sidekick 99 on 3 computers with Windows7. I have purchased a new notebook with a 64 bit processor and cannot install it. Have I finally met my match with 64 bits and Sidekick 99? I saw a msg saying that it could be done with Sidekick 98 (which I truly wish I had).

Hope you can advise me again, James33.

Check the FAQ area of this Forum for answers (If there are any FAQs!) , it could save you a lot of time and effort! Good Luck!

What are you doing that I'm doing wrong- I have Windows 7 Professional, I am following James's instructions, going through the compatibility process but nothing happens. I'm wondering if it is a security issue, blocking the installation?

Dear ScotchEgg

You can disable security software temporarily, and as I mentioned before, you can also stop processes using the Task Manager.

Have you gone back to the place where you bought it and asked them to install the program, they would at least know what was installed on it before you bought it?
