I am trying to get my Sidekick 99 file from my Window's 95 laptop to my new XP laptop. I've been unsuccessful at getting the information over via copying the data and loading into my new laptop. The copy of Sidekick 99 I had was taken by an ex-employee, so I don't have a copy of it. I have an old 2.0 version but it doesn't let me SAVE the data. Plus I've been unsuccessful at locating a copy to buy? Does anyone have a copy to buy or a suggestion as to how to get the info over from another laptop?
Thanks.

Dear AV1RICK,
If you wrote it (The Cardfile and Calendar Data to CD) then you will have to change the File properties on all of them back from read only (see the FAQ pages for a list of the files that make up the Calendar) the Cardfiles are just 1 File as in
*.SKCard) where * is the name.
If you also wish to download Sidekick98 which is even better than Sidekick99 (and will read all the Cardfiles and Calendar) then see the FAQ pages of this forum, especially:
faq807-3761
Good Luck

Regards Jim
