I usd to have a UK version of Sidekick 98-- it printed out on European A4 sized Avery lables and US 8.5 by 11. neat and that is how I printed all my Christmas labels!!

The cd was lost and computers were changed. I purchased by download Sidekick 99 and also managed to download Sidekick 98 but they appear to be US versions and do not have A4 Avery templates in the configuration.

So how do I add new avery templates to the label printing module or does anybody know where to get the right bits of a UK version ?

Christmas is coming and the cards are piling up!!

Thanks

Dear Grahame,
There is a UK version of the file skwlb2.skw and it usually resides in the Folder
C:\Program Files\Starfish\Sidekick98\Data
If you wish to have this file post an email address that I can send it to you and then you can (without sidekick running) copy the original file and paste it somewhere else and then replace it with this one.
Make sure you have a backup of the entire SK98 folder (just in case) and realise that it is entirely at your own risk.
I don't believe there will be a problem but remember that any custom label sizes you have already set will disappear when you replace the file and in each cardfile too the reference to it might produce an error...

Dear Grahame25,
There is another option, and that is to just adjust the columns and rows by clicking on the the
Set up Template button on the Print label dialog.
From there you can choose the number of rows/columns and the border sizes, that could be an easier method if all you are doing is setting up 1 or 2 labels.
