My employer who had sidekick 97 as it's data base for client info has is going away. I managed to get everything on a floppy. But I can't access or open disk. I need two things, (1) to open disk and (2) transport data to a differnt system such as Out Look our act. I am not a pro at working with computer. How do I handle this?

Dear vurt7245,
The best way of doing this would be to First get a copy of Sidekick97(Internet Sidekick).
See the following Site:

http:/
Then, once you have installed the program, extract the files from the Floppy (either unzip them or use Backup and Restore) to put them in the
C:\Program Files\Starfish\InternetSidekick\Userdata folder and then Open them with Sidekick and then SaveAs the cardfiles as
Tab Delimited .txt Files
These can then be Imported into whatever program you want.
