Sidekick 2 dialer timer 1

I have always used the auto dial feature in Sidekick 2. That is until recently. Now when I drop the name on the red phone a widow opens showing only 6 seconds to dial so the phone call is never made.

The pop up window would always start with 65 seconds.

My question, how do I change that timer?

I am in Windows ME at present but my Windows 98 machine is doing the same thing.

Dear Bill Andrews,
This sounds more like a problem with your Modem setup..
Have you checked the properties of your phone dialer (Modem) as you may have added some extras in the modem string that has reduced the timeout of the Dialer.

Check back if this doesn't work and we can go from there.
