The only device I know of that runs Sidekick and I must admit, I have only used it with a version of Sidekick95, is the Bookman II Organiser.
I have one and it runs OK on cardfiles of less than 500 Cards.
They have a fairly slow 'Processor' though but you can split up large cardfiles into smaller ones if you wish and cope with them that way.
It uses flash rom which means you don't loose any Data when you replace the batteries.
Viewing the cardfiles is fairly quick but when you replace the batteries it takes sometime to rebuild (I imagine it is the indexes), also if you edit a card near the end of a Recordset/Cardfile it takes longer to rebuild the index than if you edit a card at the beginning.
Synchronisation is a somewhat slow and convoluted business but it will synchronise Cardfiles, Calendars, and Notes with Sidekick95.
They have been around for a few years there may be a few available still on ebay they were (in Ireland) IR£150 but should be a lot cheaper now if you can get one and you can get pop-in modules to record conversation and other franklin books including 'even' a copy of the Bible if you are so inclined.
We have a PalmIIIxe. While we can't run Sidekick on the Palm, we can sync the data, but it requires a rather unique approach.
First, back up your User files from Sidekick.
Uninstall Sidekick.
Install the Palm hot sync software.
Reinstall Sidekick. During the install process, Sidekick will detect the Palm setup and ask if you want to install Palm support. Answer yes.
Once the Sidekicj installation process is completed, move your User files to the new Sidekick installation.
You should now be able to sync the Sidekick data to the Palm.
One note.. Sidekick allows some things that the Palm does not, like multiple day events. These will show up as error messages during the sync process.
Also.. As far as I know, only the Palm III and some of the earlier Palms are supported.
