Side tones

We just installed a BCM 400 3.7 and installed all of 3.7 patches.They have all analog loop start trunks on the system. Customer wants side tones lowered, is there anyway that can be done? I don't hear anything abnormal on the trunks when on a call.Customer states it happens on all the sets (7316E).I tried changing the loop length of the trunks,also changed sys.volume to set volume and had no such luck.

That parameter isn't adjustable from within the system - best you can do is change the trunks to Short CO to attempt to pad the level down. Don't know what to say other than try to have the telco attenuate the trunks some for you. Doubtful they will do that, as they'll probably throw out the "it's within specs" ball.
