I am trying to set-up side-by-side Magix through (4) TIE Trunks. My UDP is set-up fine, but the call just hangs there. Right now I have the TIE lines set as 2-way, Type1S, Dialtone Remote, Intype/Outtype "wink", Inmode/Outmode "Touchtone". Are these the correct settings?

The dip switches are set to 1,2 on, 3,4,5, off, 6,7 on, 8,9,10 to off. This is the settings used for Type1S I believe. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Telecomboy,

Not sure how you have the two connected, the XMIT of the 1st goes to the RCV of the second and the RCV of the 1st goes to the XMIT of the second. The E&M are connected straight thru. Is that how you have it cross-connected?

I wasn't sure about the wire pin-out. I will try that and see if it helps. Thanks.

IF you could spring for 2 DS1 Modules, you could make a much better, and virtually seemless link between the two systems.

Merlinman, I agree but the client went out on their own and bought (2) Tie line cards themselves as they are less expensive. Not my personal coice.

Alex, Thanks for the tip on the wiring. They were trying to use straight through cables.
