SI Vs 7.0 Output to Excel

I have a report that I wish to ouput to MSExcel. It is working well however one of the fields has to remain blank. When I output To Excel the field is 'lost' unless I populate it with something. I am using SI Vs7.0.

Can I output an ACSII code or something...Or can I format in Seagate Info.

The field that is blank:

Make sure the field in crystal reports is justified on both sides between guide arrows (the ones in the ruler at the top of the screen. I'm sure they have a better name than guide arrows, but I'll be darned if I know what it is.)

Additionally, what are you using as your blank field? An empty text box? Try using a formula which just contains " "

Brilliant.....Just used a formula with " " and it worked
well as Excel output.
