How do I power down the Definity after I save the announcements?

If it is not an S8700 then just power it down with the switches on the back of the cabinet. That's about it. If you have a Definity Audix you want to power that down prior to powering down the switch.

If you have a G3r save announcements, save translations and backup disk full both (if duplicated). Then turn the system off. If you have multiple announcement boards you will need one tape, flash card or optical disk per announcement.

If this is a G3R and a multi cabinet system, you will need to power down the EPN’s first and then the PPN. Then on power up, the PPN first and then the EPN’s.

Be sure to notify your carriers that you are powering down. I have had problems on power up. The local carrier had placed my DID's in busy out. Trying to contact a usefull switchman on a weekend is another story for another fourm.

Thanks
Ed

1a2 to ip I seen it all

Mikey,

DO NOT POWER DOEN EPNs BEFORE PPN.

The PPN HATES to see the EPNs go offline. Shut down adjuncts (Intuity, CMS, PSU etc) then the PPN then the EPN.

power up should be EPNs then PPN then Adjuncts.

Is there a resync procedure to reset the softkeys when you swap out a 8410D? I swaped a bad phone out and replaced it with another and the softkeys wer not showing the original.
