Hi all
I've noticed a couple of machines in my office running CHKDSK whenever restarting, after shutting down in the correct manner.
The manner in which they are shut down is like this. Start - Shut down the computer(at which time they wait until the machine shuts down and comes up with the option the restart leaving them no option but to use the power button to power down)
When restarting say the next morning the machine goes through CHKDSK as though the machine was shut down incorrectly. Is this a bug with the specific OS or could i service pack them although we have run the lastest service packs on them(SP 6)Could i change something in the BIOS or does anyone know of software patch/fix i could download.
Any help would be great
Cheers
