Hi All

Just recently purchased 2 new ups's. 1 x 2200 smart xl and a 3000 smart xl as well.

We have setup around 7 servers spread across both ups's to spread the load a while. Each ups has a network card in to control it and teh servers attached. The network card seems to shutdown the servers fine and we don't require the ups to restart each server on a power fault.

Our problem is all servers seem to stop and down quickly. However, the exchange server seems to take a while to shutdown. I think its because the domain controllers shutdown pretty rapid and the exchange needs the dc for something. Can anyone recommend a way to sequence when what starts to shutdown? The web interface and control on the apc network cards don't seem to offer anything.

Thanks.

You may have your batch file stop the exchange services first.
