shut off terminal server

I want to shut the terminal server remote access in admin mode off. I just want to sstop the service when i know nobody is going to be using it. When i try to stop the service it is grayed out. THanks in advance for the help.

Couldn't you just go to terminal services configuration in administrative tools and right click on the RDP-Tcp connection and disable it there and then renable it when you want to give your users access to terminal services.
