While trying to print a report out of Symposium the computer reboots. It gives no error before or after the reboot. It has no trouble running the report but it does max out the CPU when I try to print it out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
The current update for client 4.01.07 is SU10C (NS040107SU10C). You also need G02C (NS040107G002C) assuming you are on a Meridian 1 (if DMS, then it would be NS040107G003C). I believe that G013C is only a document update, and did not address any functionality fixes.
On your Symposium server: If it is at Release 4.2, it should have service update NS040206SU09S. If the server is Release 4.0, it needs to have service update NS040107SU10S.
We had issues when printing to certain printers in the building due to the printer drivers...We had compatibility problems between a Toshiba printer and printing the Symposium reports. We did not have the reboot issue you are speaking of, but rather would not be able to print reports. Have you tried changing your printer to see if you are able to print that way?
