I want to Shut Down another PC on Network by running the code from my machine.

The best way that I could think of doing that would be to have a DCOM app running on the other PC and it is that app that would shut the machine down. The "master" PC would call each client by using the optional servername parameter in the CreateObject command. I don't think that there is a direct API that you can call that can shut down another pc on the network. - Jeff Marler B-)

There is a shutdown.exe file (I believe it's in the NT SDK CD) that allows shutting down any computer on the network. The only catch is that there is a permission or something that has to be set on the PC to be shut down and I can't remember what it is off hand. It is similar to the Unix shutdown command.
