i and i try but seems impossible to:

in incoming call routing,i'd like to set a short code, tha t make the call arrive, hear the dial tone and then can dial an internal or external call

is just only science fiction?

Very easy, search "DISA" or listen to me.

Create a VMPro start point that your incomming number is pointed to.

Create a menu that has a message that tells you to dial a 9 to access an outside line.

Create 2-3 touch tones, one for internal calls (1?? for 100 extensions) and one or two for external calls (9?????????? and or 91??????????) depending on your dial out codes.

Have all of the touch tones point to a transfer option with ?KEY as the target.

Put PINs anywhere you would like since this opens your system up to lots and lots of abuse.

it is also worth putting in menue options for barred numbers that disconnect the caller or play a msg

Make sure that your cust signs a disclaimer stating that they are aware of the risks from VM hacking

thank you,but is possible without VM pro?putting the short code in the destination field of the incoming call routing?

so what this in the help of incoming call routing stands for?

"Select the destination for the call from the list box which contains all available extensions, users, groups, RAS services and voicemail. System short codes and dialing numbers can be entered manually.

it means that if you entered a telephone number in the destination, it would get processed as if it had been dialed on swich & make an external call
what you cant do is ring in, dget dialtoen & then dial out.

so i can't do things like putting *34 in the destination field to verify if holdmusic is on ,or more in general put short codes in that field? :(

Only in very special circumstances, like a behind switch point to point T1 where the digits all arrive at once. You can't do DISA the way you are asking though.
