SHRINKFILE FAILED

Hi,

Last night ran:
DBCC SHRINKFILE (myFile)

Got this error msg:
Could not adjust the space allocation for file 'myFile'

Any clues as to why this failed??

Was there any more info in the output? (Post it all, it's the innocent looking parts that matter the most.)

Coincidentally enough, I found the answer in my 70-228 uCertify prep test this morning! They had a question about this exact error message - the answer is that the shrink was conflicting with a diff backup.
