I have a Backup device called Month_End_Backup.bak. When look at the Properties > View Contents on this thing in Enterprise Manager, I see a list of every month's backup since we started running this backup. This file is huge. There doesn't seem to be any way to delete the older backups. How is this done?

Rename the file so that SQL Server can create a new one. After some time delete the file. There's no way to remove backups from the backup file.
