it seems that this would be really simple but I just can fit my head around it.

CR 8.5:

Only one table is used. I have 2 fields COMPANY_ID and CONTRACT_ID.

I want to only show Companies with more that one CONTRACT_ID for a given period. And I also want to show the contracts for those companies.

Oddly enough I can't figure this one out. I grouped by Company with the contract in the detail section but somehow cannot get the information to show how I need.

Thank you as always for your help.

Hey Cort,

Report menu, Edit Selection Formula, Group:

Count({Contract_ID},{Company_ID}) > 1

All the best,

Naith

Thanks Naith. I was trying something similar but was using it as a conditional suppression in the format section of the groups and not in the actual group selection formula.

You can imagine what my results looked like.

Thanks again it worked great.

Well, you could actually achieve a report which looked the same doing it that way too, so you weren't a million miles off. But if you can cut off the excess records from returning to the report in the first place, then everybody's happy.
