When printing reports, currency values are printing as
$55$555$55. Both the comma's and decimal are being replaced with dollar signs.

I have checked Options, Fields tab and have verified both the Number and Currency tabs and went under the Number tab to confirm they are properly set.

The thing that is strange is this:

I cannot check the "use System Default Format" and the options of "Thousands Separator" and "Leading Zero". (All 3 options are checked with my system.) If I check the "Use System Default", the "Thousands Separator" function becomes unchecked. This is the same for both the Number and Currency section.

I can't figure out where the "Use System Default Format" is pulling the information. I have checked her workstation settings (Regional Settings) and they are also set correct. Yet the reports are still printing incorrect.

Where is the "Use System Default Format" set?

System default should come from regional settings.

But I think that part of the problem is that you are changing the global default, which won't effect an existing report's format. To change an existing report you have to select the object and select Format-Field. The windows look the same, but this format overrides the Settings in File Options.

Do you get the same behavior when you select a field and then use menu options Format-Field? Can you change the comma and decimal to something else?

Does the report behave the same on other PCs or just this one? [sig]<p>Ken Hamady<br><a href=mailto:ken@kenhamady.com>ken@kenhamady.com</a><br><a href= Reports Training by Ken Hamady</a><br>[/sig]
