Dear All
We have been using audiencing on the Global Navigation menu (the dropdown bar) so that different menu items appear according to the user's role. We are using security groups from AD for the audiencing, however, we've discovered that recently any users added to the security group are not being picked up in the Audiencing dialog box within SharePoint.
If I go to Site Settings > Navigation, click on a menu item and search for my security group in the audience box, it finds it and reports that there are 'Total Members 53' it actually contains 86 people when I look in AD.
We have run the User Profiles and Properties Full Import in SharePoint Central Admin many times. It is not showing any errors and appears to successfully import any new profiles (the total number imported increases here but not on the audiencing dialog).
Can you think of any reason why when you look at the security group through SharePoint it is showing the wrong number of users?
Any help is very gratefully appreciated!
Many thanks
