I have 1 group in my report. Now I want to show the no of elements in each group in the report footer. How to do that?

In Crystal 8.5, use a Running Total, which can be group-based. And you can place it anywhere, including the report footer.

If you're wanting to show totals for more than one group in the footer, you'd need to write one running total for each possible group.

Perhaps you meant to say that you want it at the Group Footer?

The report footer is displayed at the end of the report, and so you will need numerous formulas to keep track of each value of the group, or you might consider a cross-tab to summarize the data in the report footer if that's what you really want.
