Showing combo text in grid

Hi,

I want to use "normal" component to show DBCombo in grid (like some special component as "devexpress" does).

I found out some code to do it. Put the combo at the right place when clicking a cell. OK.

The point is when the DBGrid is displayed !
My grid is a list of "Id" to have link between a general table and a table with the item.
So, it's ok when I click on a cel ... I have the combo displaying the text and setting the right Id within the other table (lookup combo).
But when I leave the cell, the celle change from the text displayed by the combo to the Id value saved in the table !!!
I whant to keep displaying the text in place of the Id. Let's say like a "mask" or just like the combo was still on top of the cell ...

I hope you understand ...

Any "easy" solution to do that?
