Hello
We have a midsize novell system (4.x). Over the years the file / rights structure has grown rapidly and become far to complex to manage.

We would now once for all get a better grip over the structure.

Is there any tool out there that can generate a list of all folders on a server and also show what rights group "trustees of this directory" is conneceted to those folders.

Kind Regards Mattias

You can use the RIGHTS command that comes with NetWare. Just map a drive to the root of a volume and run:

RIGHTS /T /S

where /T is Trustees and /S looks in all sub-directories. To pipe the results to a file use:

RIGHTS /T /S > file.txt

Depending on how big your volume is depends on how long this will take. -----------------------------------------------------
