I have a site that uses frames. I have links to go to a Secure site to pay with a credit card. This of course does not show the https:// in the address and has some folks scared to buy cause they think its not secure. If you right click on the page and click properties it does in fact show the real link and the https:// address.
Is there a way to show this address in the Address bar in the Browser without giving up the frames.
OR
Can’t I open a new browser window some how just for the secure site link?

Be specific.

TIA
DougP, MCP

Hi DougP

I don't have a real solution for you but I did an advanced search with "frames URL address" and that gave some specific matches. One of these is maybe helpfull for you.

I don't know anything about javascript , but maybe these guys can help you.

Or maybe some other advanced searches can help you further. Did you allready tried it.

good luck,
Erik

Hi Doug,

I looked again at your site, because I'm doing something like this on my one site

Try the target="_top" property in the FORM-tag like:

<FORM target="_top" ACTION="
Good luck,

Erik

Hi, me again.

Using target="_blank" will open a new browser.
Maybe you like that more, because now your frames with other links are gone after clicking to the secure site.
