Show returned values list into two columns 1

I am using Crystal 10 with an Oracle Dbase.

I have a report that returns a list of addresses that currently appear in one column. I would like to know how to display the results over two columns on the same page?

Any suggestions that could help?

Geoff,

Try creating the report using the report mailing label expert. Then create a custom label the size you need for your data and the number of columns you want on your page.

Or you could go to the section expert->details->format with multiple columns->layout tab->choose the width and the gap, choose one of across then down or down then across, and then if you want groups formatted with columns also, check "Format groups with columns". You might have to play with the column width and gap to force the columns.

Thanks LB. That pretty much does what I am looking for.

How can I define that I only want 2 columns, not unlimited?

You can force the number of columns by changing the width of the column and the gap between columns when you are in the layout tab of the section expert (which appears after you check "Format with Multiple Columns". The narrower the column width, the more columns that will appear, so if you only want to two, try using a width of about 3 with 1/2 to 1 inch for the gap.

You can also change the page margins if what you have in mind is two narrow columns and some space left over in the right or left side of the page.
