I have a REPORT HEADER section that shows all the parameters that are entered at runtime.

I have the Page Number "X of Y" in both the REPORT HEADER A and PAGE HEADER sections.

In some cases, these parameter lists can be very long and run to over 3 pages.

This results in the Page Number "1 of Y" appearing at the start of the parameter lists, then nothing on Page 2 and 3 of the parameter lists.

The Page Number "4 of Y" is OK on all other pages, once the Multi-Page REPORT HEADER is completed.

Anyone have a smart way to show the Page Number on each-page of a Multi-Page REPORT HEADER...?

Thanks in advance for the help!

You could have alternate page headers, one to be used for the report header and the other for other purposes.

Right-click on the page header section you want to use for the report header and choose Format Section. Then choose the formula icon (x+2 and a pencil) for suppression.
Test Not OnFirstRecord

Do the reverse for the normal page header.

There is no page header for a report header, so to solve this, you would need to create a group that includes all records based on a formula like this:

whilereadingrecords;
""

Insert a group on this formula and then use the Group Header for this as your "report header". You will now have page header sections where you can place page numbers which will accumulate for each page. Suppress the actual report header section.
