I am very new to making databases and i am just now touching sql. I have an inventory list and i need to be able to quickly identify which machines are not being used.

I have a userid column and each machine that is available to deploy has OPEN in the field.

I need to run a report that will display only machines swith OPEN as the user name

thanks

Base your report on a query like:
Code:
SELECT *
FROM SomeNamelessTableOrQuery
WHERE [user name] ="Open";
