I have a report that lists each one of our sales from the prior day (5,000 to 20,000 order line items). I want a report that only shows the 50 records having the largest sales dollar amounts.

How do I do that?

Assumming you are grouping sales by item number, click on report, TopN/Sort Expert, define your TopN to be 50, exclude others, and you are done.

If these records are not grouped, just sort in descending value and conditionally suppress where recordnumber>50. Software Sales, Training, Implementation and Support for Exact Macola, eSynergy, and Crystal Reports
