show name where id = ????

Hi i know this is easy but my knowledge in cgi aint too great what I need todo is have a statement saying show the field name where id = 2 from the table band_db

I'd be greatful for your help, thanx

If you haven't found the answer to this already, you'll want the following sql statement:

select name from band_db where id = ?
