This may be simple but it escapes me. I have a gridview with the following columns: Name, address and position. I need to add another column listing all langaues spoken for each person (if any).

My question is how to get the gridview to display each person and any language they speak.

Name Address Position Languages
jim brown 1 Test Dr Manager Spanish, French
mary smith 2 test dr clerk Spanish
paul jones 3 test dr clerk

TIA

Otherwise, assuming you have all the information in the database just concatenate the filed like this "spanish'||','||'Germangy'....and create a field Languages

I'm not sure I understand. Do you mean that the user should create an additional field on their database table, loop through each row for that user, concatenate each entry and then poulate this field?

I created a function that returned a (coma delimited) list of languages for each person.
