Excel newbie, please forgive me if this is obvious.
I'm calculating a variance column as (A2-A1). Negative numbers display fine, but i'd like to display positive numbers with + in front of them, in other words like +4.02%.
Select the cells/columns/range that you want to display this way.
Go to Format > Cells, on the Numbers tab, choose Custom from the list on the left. In the box at the top right, type in
[COLOR=blue white]+0;[red]-0[/red];[green]0[/green][/color]
