Show Footer only on the First Page

Hi all,

Inputs are apprecited and Thanks for your time.

I have a requirement in one of the reports to show the footer only on the first page.

What i have done is created a boolean variable(pagenumber() = 1) and dropped a conditional block in the footer and assigned the variable created as block variable and followed the rest of the steps that are necessary to complete the steps. But when i run the report the conditional block functionality is not working. I can get this by dropping the layout calculations in each field in the footer.

Let me know if any additional steps are needed to accomplish this one.
